Genetic mutation. That’s the explanation doctors gave to my mother to explain my unusual hair and eye colouring. Sometimes genetic anomalies appear if it works, more people like that are born until it becomes the norm, if it doesn’t, when the person dies that genetic code dies with them. Survival of the fittest. The doctors didn’t know two things;
1) They didn’t know the extent of my ‘mutation’
2) The ‘mutation’ was no anomaly.

Perhaps I should explain some more. Me and my twin sister Yuuki both have hair the same colour as our eyes, but hers being black, was a lot less noticeable than my purple pupiless eyes. Yuuki’s colour is probably also why it’s less obvious that she to doesn’t seem to have any pupils. It wasn’t until I joined Ouku High that I found out why we were like that, or what we were.

I can still remember my first day at Ouku High, everything from my annoyance at our short skirts to well… I’ll explain about that later. The first day back from Christmas is not the best choice for anyone to enter a new school, and yet it was the day Yuuki and I was forced to join. Snow was still fresh on the ground. The navy blue tight I wore weren’t exactly what you’d call ‘stylish,’ but they were warm under the miniskirts that were part of our uniform. Our mother’s lack of sense of time caused us to be 15 minutes late. After signing in we were ushered into the principles office, our hour long conversation, or his speech with the occasional ‘yes’ from us, was very boring and almost caused me to fall asleep standing in his office so I won’t repeat it to you. The next period was spent touring the school. The tour ended a few minutes before break and we were brought to our new classroom, and that’s when things started to get weird. 2 boys caught my attention while we were forced stand in front of the class. They sat next to each other, both of them had pale blue eyes and white hair, they didn’t look related or anything though, for one they were different ethnicities. The one on the right looked British or American, I’d have to wait until he spoke to find out which, and his curly hair stuck out at all angles. The one on the right was Japanese, his hair was in more of a visual kei style. It wasn’t their appearance that struck me as odd, it was more their aura. From the way they were staring at us, I’d say the feeling was mutual. The sudden call of “Takimura-san! Please sit down.” Snapped me out of my trance. I looked around to see Yuuki had already sat down and the only seat left next behind the boy with curly hair who whispered to his friend as I walked towards my seat.
“What do you think?” Huh,what do ya know, British.
“Do it!” Do what?
It didn’t take me long to find out though. The curly haired boy put his hands together like he was praying and muttered something under his breath. The next thing I knew I couldn’t move, couldn’t breath, couldn’t even look around. My eyes were fixed staring at the same point in the now golden room. Everything had stopped, everyone was frozen, the pencil a boy dropped floated in mid air. There was no movement. None. Not until those boys got up to inspect us anyway.
“You check out the purple one Kouki, I’ll take the black one.” Purple? Black? Excuse me, but we have names! And you just heard them, so use them!
Kouki stepped in front of me, muttered something strange in the prayer position. A bright light surrounded disorientating me and making me want to vomit. After what seemed like forever, the light went.
“Hey Mark! Find anything?” Kouki asked his friend.
“Not a thing…” Mark answered confused. “You?”
“Nothing. But look at them! There’s no way their not, it can’t be coincidence. What’s going on?”
“I don’t know, but we’ll keep an eye on them.”
They sat back down while Mark undid whatever he did before everything froze.

Suddenly I could breath again, everything looked normal again. I heard the sound of a pencil hit the ground as I ran to the toilet to be sick. I clutched my black pendent from my grandfather for reasons unknown, it wasn’t a nervous habit or anything, but when I came back in, I saw a pale (well paler than normal) Yuuki doing the same and Mark and Kouki staring at me. I looked up at our teacher and apologised. “Sorry sensei, nerves.” I explained before sitting back down. “OK, what the hell just happened?” I hissed kicking the back of Mark’s chair. The boys looked at each other and as the bell rang seconds later, we were all staring at each other.

About the names:
YUUKI 優希, 悠希, 優輝, 悠生 m & f Japanese
From Japanese 優 (yuu) "gentleness, superiority" or 悠 (yuu) "distant, leisurely" combined with 希 (ki) "hope", 輝 (ki) "radiance" or 生 (ki) "life".

YUUKO 優子, 悠子, 裕子 f Japanese
From Japanese 優 (yuu) "gentleness, superiority", 悠 (yuu) "distant, leisurely" or 裕 (yuu) "abundant" combined with 子 (ko) "child".

KOUKI 光希, 幸輝 m Japanese
From Japanese 光 (kou) "light" or 幸 (kou) "happiness" combined with 希 (ki) "hope" or 輝 (ki) "radiance, shine".

Kouki and Mark's are the only ones chosen for their charicters, Yuuki's and Yuuko's were just names I renembered that were simular.

Tell me what you think, good and bad.

Np ^^

I'd say you could split the third paragraph up somehow, make it a little less chunky :)
